CLEMSON, S.C. –The Clemson women’s team is set for multiple student-athletes to compete in the ITA All-American Championships. The ITA All-American Championships will take place at Cary, N.C. from Sept. 20-28. For information regarding live stats and streaming, visit the ITA website.
Senior Jade Groen and Romana Cisovska, Sophomores Artemis Aslanisvili, Gaia Parravicini, Amelie Smejkalova and Candela Yecora and Freshman Rinon Okuwaki will compete for the Tigers.
Groen, Cisovska, Parravicini, Smejkalova, Yecora and Rinon will compete singles and doubles while Aslanisvili will compete just singles for Clemson.
Seven Tigers will see action for the first time this fall at the tournament.
The Tigers look to have an athlete advance to the final round of the ITA All-American Championship tournament for the first time in 18 years. Ani Mijacika (2007) became the first Tiger in history to advance to the final round since the event began in 1983.
