No. 6 Tigers Down UAB 6-0 at Historic Riggs Field Friday Night

No. 6 Tigers Top UAB 6-0 to Earn Their Second Win of the Season

CLEMSON, S.C.– A season-high six goals pushed the Tigers past UAB 6-0 Friday night.

Ransford Gyan recorded the first brace of the season scoring goals in both the first and second half of the match. Misei Yoshizawa got the Tigers started in the 16′ with an assist from Remi Okunlola to put the Tigers in the lead 1-0. Floki Stephensen followed with his first goal of the season in the 38′ assisted by Gyan to strengthen Clemson’s lead. Ransford Gyan rounded out the first half with a goal in the 44′.

Nathan Richmond netted his third goal of the season in the 51′ to start the second half off strong. Gyan netted his second goal of the match and recorded the Tigers’ first brace of the season in the 75′ with Wahabu Musah kicking in a quick goal in the 78′ with an assist from Okunlola.
