CLEMSON, S.C. – Twenty Clemson student-athletes were selected to the Academic All-ACC team for lacrosse as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
Both Emily Lamparter and Paris Masaracchia have earned the Academic All-ACC distinction for a team-record third time in Orange and Regalia. Seniors Summer Agostino and Demma Hall and sophomores Blaire Byrne, Regan Byrne, Kayla MacLeod, Natalie Shurtleff and Jasmine Stanton have been named to the Academic All-ACC team for the second time in their Clemson careers. 11 other Tigers earned a spot on the list for the first time at Clemson.
Alongside their academic honors, Agostino, Kira Balis, Lamparter, MacLeod, Marshall and Shurtleff were all also named to All-ACC teams. Shurtleff was the first Clemson lacrosse player to be named to the All-ACC First Team. Agostino, Lamparter and MacLeod were all named to the All-ACC Second Team and Balis and Marshall were selected to the All-ACC Third Team.
All-ACC Academic teams are composed of students with considerable academic and athletic achievements. To be eligible for this honor, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average throughout the duration of their academic career. Additionally, these student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests throughout the duration of the season.
