#25 Wake Forest Defeats #22 Clemson Sunday in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – #25 Wake Forest defeated #22 Clemson 4-1 in an Atlantic Coast Conference men’s tennis match in Winston-Salem, N.C. Sunday afternoon. The Demon Deacons improved to 11-7 overall and 2-3 in the ACC with the win, while the Tigers fell to 17-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play with the loss.

At number-one singles, #32 Romain Bogaerts of Wake Forest defeated Hunter Harrington 6-3, 7-6. Luke Johnson was the only winner for the Tigers as he defeated Pedro Dumont 6-4, 6-1 at flight five singles.

The Tigers play their final two regular season home games next weekend – vs. #4 Virginia Friday at 11 a.m. and vs. #54 Virginia Tech Sunday at 1 p.m.
