The softball program placed itself in a position to have one of the best records through the first 200 games amongst Clemson sports, finishing with a 155-45 record trailing only men’s soccer (151-37-12).
This comes after the Tigers paced themselves to tie with women’s tennis for the most wins through 100 games (78 wins, 22 losses – .780)
Softball paced itself to trail only women’s tennis for the fewest amount of games to reach 100 wins (SB: 100-30 for 130 games; WTen: 100-28 for 128 matches).
The softball program has once against paced itself to be one of the top programs at Clemson to accomplish 200 victories in the fewest amount of games holding a 199-70 record (269 games) behind only men’s soccer (200-44-15 for 259 games).
The Tigers reached the 100 win milestone on May 1, 2022 against Georgia Tech.
