Clemson takes a 5-6 overall record into its third weekend of the 2025 season.

The Tigers face repeat opponents Elon and Villanova and will take on Marshall for the first time in the program’s six-year existence.
Clemson last took on Elon in 2021 and holds a 3-0 record against the Phoenix, while they last took on Villanova in 2020 where the Tigers dropped the game, 2-1.
Clemson currently holds a .312 batting average. The Tigers also have a .578 slugging percentage and .389 on-base percentage.
The Tigers’ pitching staff holds a 3.69 ERA through 72 innings of work with 60 strikeouts.

TO KNOWLER IS TO LOVE HER

Julia Knowler stepped onto the collegiate scene with a splash in 2024 and hasn’t looked back.
The sophomore has a .405 average clocking 15 hits – 12 of which have been for extra bases.
She is tied with freshman Macey Cintron for the team lead in home runs with five after the Charlotte game. Her seven doubles and four sac flies also leads the program.
Most recently, she became the first Tiger to hit a walk-off home run to run-rule an opponent since March 30, 2024 with a three-run bomb against Ohio State.
A force at the plate, she leads Clemson with 37 bases and 18 RBIs in her 11 starts.
As a freshman, her first collegiate game in 2024 saw Knowler going 3-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored. Her hits included a solo home run in her first plate appearance and a two-run shot out of dead center (vs. Missouri State).
Knowler went on to contribute two hits and two RBIs in the 3-2 victory against Indiana, as well as two hits and one RBI between the Liberty and Oregon games. Both of her hits vs. Liberty and Oregon resulted in the pinch runner scoring.
Knowler finished her freshman campaign with a .273 average, .500 slugging percentage and .370 on-base percentage. She also added six multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games.
