Freshman Taylor Pipkins has solidified her sport in right field since the series finale at Stanford.
She provides a strong spark in the bottom third of the lineup, contributing at least one hit, RBI or both in 15 games this season.
Most recently, she came up with a crucial sac fly to score the go-ahead run against top-ranked Tennessee in the top of the ninth inning. She also clocked a hit and scored a run this game.
She has four sac flies on the season, which ties for third most in program history in a single year.
Her best series on the year came at NC State, where she recorded four hits over the three games, including two home runs and five RBIs.
Additional spotlight moments came in the series finale against the Cardinal, where she broke open the no-hitter with a double into left field that went on to spur Clemson’s offense to secure the series upset win.
She has started in 19 games at either right field, third base or second.
