CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Softball program is set to open the 2024 season with five games over the course of four days at the 2024 NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic, the tournament announced on Thursday. Action is slated to begin on February 8 in Clearwater, Fla. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. ET.
The Tigers are poised to take the field in just the fifth season of the program, taking on three new opponents in Missouri, Missouri State and Oregon, and facing off against repeat opponents Indiana and Liberty. All five opponents finished the 2023 season in the top 76 of the RPI with four making a regional appearance and one advancing to supers.
