CLEMSON, S.C. – Two-time NFCA All-Region center fielder McKenzie Clark becomes the fifth Tiger to ink a professional contract after agreeing to terms with Athletes Unlimited for the 2024 AUX Pro Softball Season. Clark will compete June 10-25 in Wichita, Kansas.
Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball AUX (pronounced A-U-X) features 18 games across two weeks, utilizing AU’s unique scoring system to crown an individual champion. The event will take place at Wichita State’s Wilkins Stadium. All games will be broadcast live on the ESPN family of networks.
Clark most recently was named an NFCA Second Team All-Region Southeast selection following a standout senior campaign. The Myakka City, Fla., native posted a season-high .365 average with 61 hits, including a team-high 10 home runs, eight doubles and four triples. She was second on the team with 41 RBIs and scored a team-high 53 runs. During the 2024 campaign, she drew 29 walks and stole six bases to claim the Clemson career record for stolen bases with 46. She finished her career with a .632 slugging and .443 on-base percentage. As the starting center fielder in 226 games, she finished with 237 putouts and 17 assists. She concluded her career as a Tiger at the Tuscaloosa Regional where she hit a two-run homer and triple in her final game in Orange and Regalia.
Clark joins Alia Logoleo (Chattanooga Steam), Valerie Cagle (Athletes Unlimited), Caroline Jacobsen (Athletes Unlimited) and Ansley Gilstrap (Florida Vibe) as former Clemson Softball players that have turned pro.
