Summer League Tigers Recap

2023 Summer League Tigers

CLEMSON, S.C. – A total of 18 returning Tigers from the 2023 team played in various summer leagues after the 2023 season.

Cooper Blauser, who redshirted in 2023, was a Coastal Plain League All-Star Game selection thanks in large part to hitting .321 with 22 RBIs, 28 runs and 11 steals for Lexington County.

Nathan Hall and Nolan Nawrocki were both New England Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game selections while representing Martha’s Vineyard. Hall batted .282 with three homers, 18 RBIs, 20 runs and nine steals, while Nawrocki hit .310 with 13 RBIs, 30 runs and 18 steals.

Jack Crighton hit .276 with 14 RBIs, 22 runs and 13 steals with Traverse City in the Northwoods League. Other summer standouts include Jay Dillard, who hit .282 with a homer, 14 RBIs, 25 runs and five steals with Asheboro in the Coastal Plain League, and Jacob Jarrell, who batted .260 with four homers and 17 RBIs with North Shore in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. Lleyton Lackey added 18 steals for Asheboro in the Coastal Plain League as well.

Tristan Smith led the Tiger pitchers with a 3-1 record, 3.29 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 27.1 innings pitched over seven appearances (six starts) with Bourne in the Cape Cod League.

Cam Cannarella and Austin Gordon, who also pitched for Brewster in the Cape Cod League, were both invited to try out for the USA Collegiate National Team.
