PREVIEW

Clemson travels to New Orleans, Louisiana for the Tulane Invitational and to conclude non-conference play
The Tigers face off against host Tulane, Houston Christian and UTEP
The Tigers enter week four with a 6-3 record

BLOCKING POWER

The Tigers have become a force at the net during the 2023 campaign led by graduate transfer Adria Powell
As a team, Clemson leads the ACC with 83 total blocks and sits 37th in the NCAA through the third week of action
The Tigers are averaging 2.59 blocks per set, which ranks second in the ACC and 39th in the NCAA
Powell leads the way for Clemson and the ACC in both total blocks (50) and blocks per set (1.61) – in both of these categories, Powell ranks in the top 10 in the NCAA coming in at seventh in total blocks and sixth in blocks per set

MCKENNA SLAVIK

Graduate Mckenna Slavik has quarterbacked the Clemson offense for the past five seasons with ease
During the second week of action, Slavik reached the 4,000 career assist milestone to become only the fourth Tiger in program history to accomplish the benchmark – She also became the fifth-active Division I athlete to maintain over 4,000 career assists
In the first week, Slavik moved up in Clemson’s career records to move into fourth all-time in assists with 3,891 (has 4,140 through the third week) – she is 165 assists away from moving into third (which currently is at 4,305)
Slavik also is on target to cement herself for the most career starts – she has started 115 through the third week of action. Lia Proctor and Jodi Steffes hold the 10th spot with 124 starts, while Julie Rodriguez holds the top spot with 135
During her career, Slavik has also racked up 932 digs sitting only 68 out from reaching the 1,000 dig benchmark

NEW FACES

The 2023 Clemson Tigers features 20 total players – 14 of which are freshmen and sophomores
11 players are new to the roster with seven freshmen and four transfers
Transfers Adria Powell, Katie Culumovic and Katie Hurta transferred to the program in January and spent the spring semester training with the Tigers. Kateryna Tkachenko joined the program to begin the 2023 fall semester

FOREIGN TOUR

The Clemson volleyball team went on a 15-day foreign tour at the beginning of June traveling to Paris, Croatia and Bosnia
The team participated in training sessions and a two-day tournament in Bosnia – Clemson split into two different teams to allow for every player to get ample amounts of playing time and learn the systems
Clemson also did multiple off-court team building activities including: ATVing through the mountains of Bosnia, two different boat days, sightseeing and becoming immersed in different cultures
