  • In 2022, Clemson ended a six-year losing streak by defeating the Gamecocks in five sets in Jervey Gym.
  • It marked the first win for the Tigers since 2014 and the first win at home since 2013


  • Clemson opened the Big Orange Bash with a 3-1 victory on Friday evening against Middle Tennessee
  • The Tigers were led by freshman Kennedy Wagner (15 kills) and junior Azyah Dailey (12 kills), while also tallying nine aces and 10 blocks as a team against the Blue Raiders
  • Clemson continued the weekend with a 3-0 sweep of Wofford on Sunday afternoon where Kennedy Wagner once against led the team with 17 kills and posted her first double-double with 10 digs
  • Mckenna Slavik tallied 34 assists to move into fourth all-time at Clemson with 3,921 on her career
  • Following last weekend, Kennedy Wagner was named the tournament MVP and ACC Rookie of the Week


  • The Clemson volleyball team went on a 15-day foreign tour at the beginning of June traveling to Paris, Croatia and Bosnia
  • The team participated in training sessions and a two-day tournament in Bosnia – Clemson split into two different teams to allow for every player to get ample amounts of playing time and learn the systems
  • Clemson also did multiple off-court team building activities including: ATVing through the mountains of Bosnia, two different boat days, sightseeing and becoming immersed in different cultures


  • The 2023 Clemson Tigers features 20 total players – 14 of which are freshmen and sophomores
  • 11 players are new to the roster with seven freshmen and four transfers
  • Transfers Adria Powell, Katie Culumovic and Katie Hurta transferred to the program in January and spent the spring semester training with the Tigers. Kateryna Tkachenko joined the program to begin the 2023 fall semester


  • Following the 2023 home slate – which ends on Nov. 5 against Louisville – Clemson will begin renovations on Jervey Gym for the 2024 season
  • Renovations include raising the roof, as well as a new locker room, lounge and meeting areas for Clemson’s volleyball program, and major improvements to the gameday experience with new access, restrooms and concessions areas
  • The renovation phase of the project would re-allocate more than 14,000 square feet of space and also include building a new state-of-the-art performance and wellness center for Clemson’s student-athletes
