CLEMSON, S.C. — Thirty-seven student-athletes, including 17 current and former Tiger football players, earned undergraduate degrees Thursday during commencement ceremonies in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Included among Thursday’s graduating class were six starters off the nation’s top-ranked total defense — Stephone Anthony, Corey Crawford, Grady Jarrett, Garry Peters, Tony Steward and DeShawn Williams. Anthony and Jarrett also earned first-team All-ACC honors on the field of play this season.
Also graduating Thursday were four members of Clemson’s ACC Championship men’s soccer team. Ara Amirkhanian, who scored the golden goal in the final against Louisville on Nov. 16, earned a degree in health science. He was joined on stage by Amadou Dia, Chris Glodack and Phanuel Kavita.
