WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The 12th-ranked Clemson women’s tennis team swept all three doubles contests for the third consecutive match en route to a 6-1 victory over Wake Forest on Sunday afternoon at Leighton Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC. The Tigers then posted five wins in singles play to extend their winning streak to six straight and move to 14-5 on the year and 6-1 against conference opponents.

The Demon Deacons fell to 12-6 overall and 3-3 in the ACC.

Clemson won the doubles point for the 15th time this season as all three teams posted wins on Sunday. Ina Hadziselimovic partnered for an 8-4 victory over Emille Malvehy and Alieen Davis of Wake Forest at flight two for the first win of the day. The Tiger duo of Estefania Balda and Alexandra Luc then clinched the point, defeating Christian Tara and Katarina Reveche by an 8-3 margin at the third position.

Ani Mijacika and Keri Wong, the nation’s eighth-ranked team, then recorded an 8-3 victory over Sasha Kulikova and Sierra Poske to improve to 9-2 in dual matches.

Wong scored the Clemson’s second point of the afternoon with her singles win against Reveche at flight four. The Tiger rookie dropped just one game for her eighth straight win and 21st for the year.
