CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s and women’s cross country teams are set to compete in the adidas XC Challenge at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. The men’s 6k is scheduled to start at 5:15 p.m. ET while the women’s 5k is slated to start at 5:55 p.m. ET.

This will mark the Tigers second meet of the 2024 season as they opened their campaign in Spartanburg, S.C. at the USC Upstate Eye Opener. Newcomer Silvia Jelelgo tabbed a first place finish in the women’s 5k while South Carolina transfer Judy Kosgei secured second place. On the men’s side, freshman Garrett Brown was the first Tiger to cross the line for Clemson in the men’s 8k as he tabbed a seventh place finish.

Following her performance, Jelelgo was named the ACC Freshman and Performer of the Week.
