CLEMSON, S.C. — the reigning National Champion Clemson Tigers squared off with ACC opponent North Carolina on Saturday afternoon in an exhibition match. The Tar Heels came away with a 2-0 victory.
The exhibition match saw an opportunity for Clemson’s coaching staff to get a look at some of their less experienced players as the team takes aim at defending its title in the fall. The Tigers return stars such as Isaiah Reid, Ousmane Sylla, Alvaro Gomez and Hamady Diop, while welcoming in many new faces that will look to make an impact immediately.
Up next, The Tigers will host Maryland on Saturday, March 12 in an inter-conference exhibition match. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
