CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson senior Andrew Swanson has been named to the Ping All-District golf team. The announcement was made on Saturday afternoon. It marks the second time Swanson has made the Ping All-District team as he was also selected as a sophomore in the spring of 2023.
In 2024-25, Swanson led the Clemson team in stroke average (71.63), top 10 finishes (4), rounds in the 60s (10), rounds under par (15), rounds at par or better (16) scoring average on par four holes (4.05) and birdies (127). He had a 69.73 stroke average in the final rounds of tournaments, best on the team and among the best final round averages in Clemson history.
Swanson finished his four-year career with a 71.85 career stroke average, eighth best in Clemson history. He is ninth in rounds in the 60s with 27, 10th in eagles with 10, and 13th in birdies with 392. He tied the Clemson record for birdies in a tournament this year with 19 at the Steelwood Collegiate, where he finished third last October.
