Two Tigers Selected to 2024 Senior All-Star Team

CLEMSON, S.C. – The IWLCA announced on Wednesday, May 29th that Attacker Claire Bockstie and Defender Ariana Kline will represent Clemson on the 2024 Senior All-Star Team. Both Bockstie and Kline will play on the South Team which is coached by James Madison Head Coach Shelley Klaes in the 2024 Senior All-Star game which will be held on Tierney Field at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. Admission to attend is free of charge and the game will not be available to stream. 

After coming in as transfers this season, both Kline and Bockstie proved to be key players for the Tigers in the 2024 season. Kline started in all 18 games and was a critical player on the draw circle and on the defensive end. The defender caused at least one turnover in 11 games, notched her 100th career caused turnover this season, and totaled 41 draw controls, 18 caused turnovers, and 26 ground balls. 

Similar to Kline, Bockstie also started in all 18 games this season. Always a threat on offense, Bocksite led Clemson in goals and total points this season, scoring at least one goal in every game besides two, scoring at least three goals in eight games, registering at least one assist in 12 games, recording 11 multi-point games and tying her career high of six goals this season against Mercer. Overall, Bockstie totaled 41 goals, 19 assists, 10 ground balls, two caused turnovers and three draw controls for the Tigers this season.
