Men’s Golf Remains No. 2 In National Rankings

PRINCETON, N.J. – Clemson is ranked second in the nation in the latest MasterCard college golf rankings. Clemson trails only top ranked Georgia Tech in the poll. Clemson has been ranked among the top four teams in the nation in every poll this year.

For the third week in a row, Clemson has four of the top 22 players in the nation according to the MasterCard rankings. Lucas Glover of Greenville, SC leads the way with a number-three individual ranking. John Engler, a junior first-team all-American, is ranked 12th, while freshman D.J. Trahan is 13th. Jonathan Byrd, also a returning first-team All-American from last year, is 22nd.

Clemson will next be in action April 7-9 at the US Collegiate Invitational in Mexico.
