Clemson Women’s Tennis Places Several on Preseason ITA Rankings List

SKILLMAN, N.J. – The ITA Announced their 2009 Campbell/ITA Division I preseason rankings on Friday, and several Tigers were on the list of top players. Josipa Bek is the highest ranked Tiger, and will enter the season as the #9-ranked singles player nationally.

Singles Rankings   Doubles Rankings

Sophomore Ina Hadziselimovic will start out ranked #99 in singles play. The doubles team of Bek and Hadziselimovic is touted as the 14th-best in the nation. Wong and freshman Nelly Ciolkowski will start the season ranked 34th nationally in doubles.

The Tigers will start their fall season on September 25 at the Furman Fall Classic. Clemson returns five letterwinners and three All-Americans from a team that advanced to the Sweet 16 in NCAA action last season.
