Eric Sabin

Eric Sabin is in his fifth year with Clemson Athletics, currently as the Executive Senior Associate AD of Finance & Operations. Sabin previously served as the Senior Associate AD of Facilities Management and Capital Projects after coming to Clemson in July 2019 from University of Memphis. At the University of Memphis he most recently served as the Senior Associate AD for Finance at the University of Memphis, and has been involved in athletic finance, operations and facility management for nearly two decades.

Sabin oversees all aspects of finance and operations at Clemson, including Business Operations, Equipment Operations, Facilities, Grounds, Capital Projects and Event Operations. Since his time at Clemson in Capital Projects, he has overseen the completion of the Women’s Expansion Project including Lacrosse, Gymnastics and Athlete Recovery Center, McWhorter Softball Stadium, IPTAY and Ticket Center, Soccer Operations Facility, Athlete Branding Institute, and major Renovations at Memorial Stadium, Reeves Football Complex, and Poe Indoor Facility. Presently, Clemson has  renovations at Jervey Gym and the new Watt Family Performance & Wellness Center, and renovations at Littlejohn Coliseum under construction or in final design and scheduled to be completed through 2025-26.

At Memphis Sabin oversaw all finance and operations in various finance roles over the course of six years, as well as all fiscal planning, facilities and contracts for capital projects. Prior to Memphis, Sabin served at San Jose State for four years as an equipment manager and a business operations analyst, and Florida State as an equipment manager. Sabin earned his B.S. in finance from Florida State in 2007, and an M.S. in sports commerce from Memphis in 2012. He’s currently pursuing his Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership at Clemson University.

Sabin and his wife, Diana, have two daughters, Remi and Cora.
