Volleyball Drops Four Game Match To FSU

TALLAHASSEE, Fla — The Clemson Tiger volleyball team lost to the Florida State Lady Seminoles 1-3 (15-13, 15-6, 13-15, 15-8) Sunday afternoon at Tully Gym. The Tigers fall 8-12 overall and 3-5 in the ACC while Florida State improves to 15-8 overall and 3-5 in conference play.

Jodi Steffes led three Tigers in double figures in kills with 15 kills and a .353 hitting percentage. Lindsey Fuller and Jackie Dalleska recorded 11 kills each, and Fuller led the team in blocks with four (two solo). Missy Kudelka tallied a team-high 37 assists with nine digs while Tami BySura served a season-high four aces. Kiki Dallao led the team in digs with 10 and added seven kills.

FSU’s Norisha Campbell tallied 15 kills while Alex Sevillano added 13 kills with nine digs. Dawn Hugh led the Lady Seminoles in blocks with seven while Jamie Hibbard dished out a match-high 38 assists with 11 digs. Florida State outhit the Tigers .265 to .128.

Clemson volleyball returns to action next Friday night at Jervey Gym as they host Duke University in a 7:00 p.m. match. Admission is free to all Tiger volleyball home matches.
