Atlanta, Ga. – The Clemson men’s tennis team hit the ground running at the Georgia Tech Invitational after going 3-1 in doubles to open the tournament. The Tigers went 5-3 overall on the day.
Teodor Giusca earned a perfect 3-0 record on the first day of the tournament. The sophomore picked up a singles victory over Gregor Ramskogler of Mississippi State, 6-2, 6-2. Earlier in the day, Giusca, along with classmate Jacob Jahn, earned a pair of doubles wins over Ramskogler/Tortora of Mississippi State and Worst/Freeman of Vanderbilt. The pair are set to compete for the White Doubles Draw title on Monday at 9 a.m.
