Sacramento, CA – Patricia Mamona of the women’s track & field team placed 11th in the triple jump final at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Saturday. The freshman from Lisbon, Portugal fouled on two attempts and recorded a high mark of 41’7.25″ after posting the ninth-best preliminary jump.
Mamona concludes her season ranked second in the Lady Tiger record books for both the indoor and outdoor triple jump. She was All-ACC in both settings and was an All-East Region performer in the event as well.
