CLEMSON, SC – The 19th-ranked Clemson women’s tennis team will play host to #74 Furman on Saturday afternoon in Clemson. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. Last week, the Tigers moved into the top-20 in the national rankings for the first time since the 1996 season when Clemson finished the season ranked 19th. Clemson is 10-2 overall and 2-0 in the ACC after defeating N.C. State (5-2) and Wake Forest (6-1) last weekend.

The Tigers have a 32-3 all-time advantage over the Paladins. In 2002, Furman defeated Clemson in a 5-2 decision in Greenville. This season, the Paladins, ranked 74th by the ITA, are 5-7 overall and 1-0 in the Southern Conference. The team most recently fell to 28th-ranked Georgia Tech (6-1) and defeated East Tennessee State (7-0).
