Clemson, S.C., Nov. 26, 2025 – Clemson women’s basketball heads to the Islands of Song (Nassau, Bahamas) to play in the 2025 Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship (Junkanoo Division). The Tigers will face Western Carolina on Friday, Nov. 28, at 4 p.m. In game two, Clemson will face either Temple or No. 20 Michigan State on Sunday, Nov. 30 (4/6:30 p.m.). All games will be streamed live on FloHoops and the Clemson Athletic Network.
THE CLEMSON-WESTERN CAROLINA SERIES
Clemson leads Western Carolina 9-1 in the all-time series, and the Tigers are on a three-game win streak. The pairings between the Tigers and the Catamounts spans back to the 1984-85 season. In the last clash, Clemson topped WCU, 81-42 (Dec. 10, 2022).
THE CLEMSON-TEMPLE SERIES
Clemson leads Temple 1-0 in the all-time series, and the lone meeting took place during the 1997-98 season. In the first pairing, Clemson topped Temple, 65-39 (Dec. 22, 1997).
THE CLEMSON-MICHIGAN ST. SERIES
The series is even at 1-1. The pairings between the Tigers and the Spartans spans back to the 1989-90 season. In the last clash, Clemson fell to Michigan St., 68-51 (Nov. 29, 2007).
LAST TIME OUT
Graduate forward Demeara Hinds scored 14 of her season-high 16 points in the fourth quarter in Clemson’s 76-58 win against Furman in Timmons Arena on Sunday afternoon. Senior guard Mia Moore (3rd double-double of the season) added 13 points and a career-best 11 assists. Senior guard Rachel Rose (11 points) and junior guard/forward Rusne Augustinaite (10 points) rounded out the four Tigers who finished the day in double-figure points. Junior guard Hannah Kohn logged a career-best four steals and has grabbed three or more steals in back-to-back performances.
BEST OF THE TIGERS
The Tigers are led by the scoring duo of Moore (13.7 ppg.) and Augusinaite (11.8 ppg.). Augusinaite is also averaging 2.5 3PM Per Game (4th in the ACC). Moore holds a team-best 7.2 rebound average (16th in the ACC) and 4.7 assists average (6th in the ACC). Senior guard/forward Hadley Periman is the squad’s leading shot blocker (1.4 bpg.) (8th in the ACC).
TIGERS INK MONSTER SIGNING CLASS: HIGHEST EVER IN PROGRAM HISTORY!
The incoming 2026 class is the highest-ranked signing class in program history and ranks third nationally (per 247 Sports) and fifth nationally (per ESPN). Coach Poppie, who is in his second year at the helm, has signed six Top-100 recruits in two years. Prior to the Poppie Era at Clemson, the program has only had six Top-100 recruits in the previous 12 years.
The Class includes: Trinity Jones, Kimora Fields, Julia Scott, Meeyah Green, and Dyarri Braddick.
RACHAEL ROSE NAMED TO NANCY LIEBERMAN PGOTY PRESEASON WATCH LIST
Senior guard Rachael Rose is 1-of-20 players (1-of-6 in the ACC) named to the 2026 Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Preseason watch list, announced by Hoophall & the WBCA. The Nancy Lieberman Award recognizes the top point guard in women’s NCAA Division I college basketball. To be considered for this prestigious award, candidates must exhibit the floor leadership, playmaking, and ball-handling skills of Class of 1996 Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lieberman.
