Clemson Secures a Handful of ACC Weekly Performance Awards

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference released its weekly performance awards Tuesday afternoon with Clemson athletes taking home five of the six honors for their efforts at the Clemson Invitational this past Saturday.

Grant Holliday | Men’s Track Performer of the Week

Holliday recorded top five times on Clemson’s 300m and 600m all-time lists. Leading the Tigers in the men’s 300m, he finished fourth with a new personal record of 32.64 seconds which is the second-fastest time on Clemson’s all-time top five list. Holliday also finished second in the men’s 600m with a time of 1:16.55 (PR), good for third on Clemson’s all-time top five performance list.

Brayden Tidwell | Men’s Rookie Performer of the Week

Tidwell finished third in the men’s 200m with a time of 21.53 seconds. He is a part of a four-way tie for being ranked 37th in the nation (TFRRS) and has the fifth-fastest 200m time in the ACC, sitting behind four other Clemson athletes (J. Johnson, Collins, Oyetunji & I. Johnson).

Gladys Chepngetich | Women’s Track Performer of the Week

In the women’s 600m, Chepngetich won the event after breaking her own school record (1:28.22) with a time of 1:26.66. She also ran a leg on Clemson’s top-placing 4x400m relay team, contributing to a fourth-place finish with a time of 3:39.98. This 4x400m relay team is currently tied for the 14th-fastest time in the nation and ranks second in the ACC behind a Clemson squad (No. 9, 3:36.82) that ran in the Clemson Opener (Dec. 5, 2025).

Shantae Foreman | Women’s Field Performer of the Week

Foreman won the women’s long jump with a PR distance of 6.50m / 21′ – 01.75″. Her jump ranks second on Clemson’s all-time top 10 list, is tied for second nationally and ranks first in the ACC.

Other track events that Foreman competed in this past weekend include, the same 4x400m relay team as Chepngetich and the women’s 200m, where she placed eighth with a time of 23.79 seconds. Her 200m time is currently ranked 13th in the nation and is the fourth-fastest ACC time, behind three Clemson athletes (McKenzie Calloway, Aniyah Kitt & Aleksandra Stoilova).

Kimeka Smith | Women’s Rookie Performer of the Week

Smith won the women’s shot put with a distance of 15.98m / 52′ – 05.25″ which is currently fifth on Clemson’s all-time top 10 list, is tied for the 13th-farthest throw in the nation and ranks No. 1 in the ACC. Smith’s distance also broke her own Clemson freshman women’s shot put record that she set at the Clemson Opener (15.06m / 49’ – 05.00”). This is the second ACC Women’s Rookie Performer of the Week for Smith in as many weeks she has been eligible.

  • The Tigers are nationally ranked 42 times in 19 different events between the men and women with 23 of them being in the top 15.
  • Clemson is ranked 14 times in the top 10 with the list including:
    • Jalen Johnson (No. 2 men’s 200m, 20.76 seconds)
    • McKenzie Calloway (No. 2 women’s 200m, 23.23 seconds)
    • Oneka Wilson (No. 2 women’s 60m hurdles, 8.04 seconds)
    • Foreman (No. 2 women’s long jump, 6.50m / 21’ – 01.75”)
    • Kevin Collins (No. 3 men’s 200m, 20.85 seconds)
    • Aniyah Kitt (No. 4 women’s 200m, 23.37 seconds)
    • Ayomide Oyetunji (No. 6 men’s 200m, 20.98 seconds)

    • Divine Aniamaka (No. 7 men’s triple jump, 15.71m / 51’ – 06.50”)

In Other News

The Tigers have officially signed Wade Leventis, a 200m & 400m prospect out of Waccamaw High School in Pawleys Island, S.C. Leventis is a 4x All-State athlete, 4x state champion, and is an All-American in the 400m. He is the son of Todd and Meagan Leventis and has two younger siblings, Claire and Ellis. Leventis will arrive at Clemson in the fall, intending to major in Construction Science Management.
