Dixon Named Preseason All-ACC by Coaches

Senior wing Nikki Dixon was one of ten players named to the coaches 2014 Preseason All-ACC women’s basketball team as announced at Women’s Basketball Media Day on Wednesday. Dixon is the first Tiger to earn preseason all-conference honors since Lele Hardy in 2009.

Dixon is sixth among returning players in the ACC with a scoring average of 15.5 points per game and her 1.8 steals per game average is fourth among returning players in league play a season ago. She averaged 13.7 points per game overall, and enters 2014-15 17th on Clemson’s all-time scoring list with 1,141 points.
