The Clemson Softball program heads into its third week of play by traveling to Charlotte, N.C. for a midweek matchup against the 49ers.
The Tigers and Niners are meeting for the seventh time with Clemson leading the series 6-0, including 2-0 in Charlotte
Charlotte Connection: Charlotte Head Coach Courtney Breault was a member of the Clemson inaugural staff and with the program for five seasons before taking the role at Charlotte last season. Her staff, including Alyssa Bilodeau, Jake Combs and Bailey Taylor all have had stints at Clemson either as a member of the Tigers’ staff or as a student-athlete (Taylor)

The freshman got the nod during opening day as Clemson’s starting designated player and has since transitioned to the starting third baseman
She has five hits, including two for multiple bases and has drawn five walks to bring her slugging percentage to .538 and her on-base percentage to .579
The Miami Springs, Fla. native was a D1Softball D100 Freshman to Watch
Her father, Michael, played football at Nevada-Reno and was a First Team All-Big West offensive guard and 2014 Hall of Fame Athletic Inductee
