SARASOTA, Fla. – The Clemson Tigers are slated to compete in the Big 10 Invitational as the second spring regatta of the Adrienne Martelli administration on Friday and Saturday, April 18th and 19th, at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.
The Tigers will bring five boats to the regatta with the first Clemson boat, the 2V4, set to compete at 8:30 a.m. on Friday with additional boats, the 1V4, 2V8 and 1V4, racing every ten minutes after until 9 a.m. The 3V8 will compete at 11:40 a.m. before the first set of boats will then compete again from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
On Saturday, Clemson will start the morning with the 3V8 at 8:50 a.m. with the 2V4, 1V4, 2V8 and 1V8 slated to race from 11 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.
The Big 10 Invitational is the second of three regattas that Clemson Rowing program will compete in for the spring season. The Tigers will head to north to Raleigh, N.C. next week for the Lake Wheeler Invite and Clemson will also host the ACC Championship on May 16th and 17th.
