A few key data points for the upcoming 2021 season.
Nolan Turner was named an All-American in 2020 while Myles Murphy, Bryan Bresee and Walker Parks were all named Freshman All-Americans and all four will be on the roster in 2021.
Nine out of 11 starters will return on defense, the most in the Dabo Swinney era. The last time the Tigers had at least eight returning defensive starters was 2018, the program’s most recent National Championship team.
In only his second career start, and on a national stage against the #3 team in the country, the cannon-armed QB racked up the most passing yards ever by a Clemson freshman quarterback and the most ever by an opposing QB vs. Notre Dame.
Clemson’s 2021 signing class ranked #5 in the country according to 247Sports. Twelve of Clemson’s 19 signees enrolled in January and have already made their impact felt in spring practice.
