Women’s Track & Field Competes on Day Two at Penn Relays

Philadelphia, PA – The Clemson women’s track & field team concluded day two of competition from Franklin Field at the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday. The Lady Tigers competed in the 4x200m relay, shuttle hurdle relay, sprint medley relay, and 100m hurdles.

The team of Randi Hinton, Ope Sobanjo, Tia Perry competed in the 4x200m relay and finished fourth in their heat and 23rd out of 62 teams. The team put together a time of 1:38.67. The sprint medley team of Hinton, Patrice McMillan competed on Friday and posted a time of 4:03.66. The shuttle hurdle relay team also competed Friday and was eighth with a time of 59.09.

In the 100m hurdles, both Renata Miyamoto and Hardy competed for the Lady Tigers. Hardy posted a time of 14.24, while Miyamoto was at 14.41.

The Lady Tigers return to action Saturday to wrap up competition at the 112th annual Penn Relays.
