CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s tennis team moved up three spots to #5 in the Fila/ITA Tennis poll released on Tuesday, Apr. 10. The Tigers boast a 17-3 overall record and are currently atop the Atlantic Coast Conference standings with an 8-1 mark in league matches.
The ranking is Clemson’s highest being listed third in the 2005 preseason poll and marks the 19th straight week that the Tigers have earned a spot in the top-25. Clemson entered the top 10 in the Mar. 6 poll, spending three weeks at #8 and two at #7 before moving to the fifth position.
The Tigers will conclude the 2007 regular season this weekend as they will travel to Virginia and Virginia Tech.
