Women’s Basketball Travels To Georgia Tech Saturday

CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson women’s basketballl team will play Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in Alexander Memorial Coliseum.

Clemson will enter the game with a 5-1 record overall, while Georgia Tech has a 3-1 record overall, and a 0-1 mark in the ACC. This will be the ACC opener for Clemson. Clemson is coming off a 65-46 win over South Carolina on Monday, November 29, and a 57-52 win over Furman on Wednesday, December 1.

The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Amirah Leonard with a 11.3 ppg. average. Erin Batth leads the squad in rebounding with a 8.2 rpg. mark.

Georgia Tech is led in scoring by Candice McCallum with a 11.3 ppg. average. Jaime Kruppa leads the Lady Jackets in rebounding with a 8.3 rpg. mark.

This will be the 42nd meeting between Clemson and Georgia Tech on the basketball court. The Lady Tigers lead the overall series 33-8.
