Women’s Basketball To Hold Exhibition Game On Friday Night

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team will play host to DT3 on Friday night (Nov. 2) in an exhibition contest. The teams are scheduled to begin play at 7:00 pm at Littlejohn Coliseum. Admission to the game is free.

The Lady Tigers return seven players from the 2006-07 squad, including 2007 ACC All-Freshman selections Lele Hardy and Christy Brown. Adrianne Bradshaw and D’Lesha Lloyd are back for their senior campaigns, while red-shirt junior Moreemi Davis is also in her fourth year with the program. Joining Brown and Hardy in the sophomore class are guards Emily Spray, as well as transfer April Parker, a forward from Snellville, GA who will be making her debut in a Clemson uniform on Friday night.

This season’s team also features a highly touted rookie class comprised of forwards Whitney Hood and Jasmine Tate, along with guards Bryelle Smith, Sthefany Thomas and Kirstyn Wright.

DT3, also referred to as Michael T. White Exhibition, features a roster of former collegiate players from schools such as LSU, Georgia, Auburn and Florida.

The Lady Tigers will open their 2007-08 season next Friday, Nov. 9 against the Maine Black Bears. The teams will tip-off at 5:00 pm from Littlejohn Coliseum.
