EUGENE, Ore. – Shekera Weston and Jamine Moton, members of the Clemson women’s track and field team, competed in the GMC Envoy USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field this weekend. Weston competed in the 200m and 400m dashes while Moton competed in the shot put.
Weston, a native of Ft. Campbell, KY, posted a 12th-place finish in the 200m, and a 15th-place finish in the 400m. She recorded a time of 23.75 in the 200m and a time of 54.61 in the 400m.
A junior from Glassboro, NJ, Moton posted a 12th-place finish with a mark of 47’113/4″ (14.69m) in the shot put. She threw a mark of 47’71/4″(14.51m) on her first attempt before recording her final mark in her second attempt. Moton fouled on her third attempt.
