We know Clemson does not lack in school pride and spirit, especially when it comes to its cheerleading and spirit squads. Now the rest of the cheerleading world can know just how spirited the Tigers are, as Clemson cheerleader Madie Montero is one of just four finalists vying to grace the cover of American Cheerleader magazine as “Cheerleader of the Month.”

A nursing major, Montero is competing with cheerleaders from the University of Kentucky, Indiana University and LSU.
