CLEMSON, SC – Clemson’s Nov. 18 showdown with Florida State will appear live around the world on ESPN3.com, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Friday. A total of nine ACC matches league-wide are scheduled to be televised during the 2011 season across various platforms.

The coverage will supplement Clemson’s TigerCast coverage, which will once again broadcast most of the Tigers’ home matches live around the world.

The conference as a whole will be looking to improve on one of its best years after finishing the 2010 season with a 108-39 (.739) out-of-conference record, the best in ACC history. The conference has sent a league-record five teams to the NCAA Volleyball Championship for two straight years and has had a representative reach the regional final in both years as well.

The television schedule will feature volleyball matches on eight different campuses and include 10 of the conference’s 12 teams.

Clemson’s regular season opens on Aug. 26 with the Big Orange Bash. The Orange and White scrimmage will be Aug. 19 at 5:00 pm in Jervey Gymnasium.
