Nov. 16, 1999

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball team is ranked 13th nationally for the second week in a row according to the AVCA Division I Coaches Poll released this week. The Tigers received 770 points in the poll. Last week Clemson defeated Georgia, Wake Forest and Duke to clinch the program’s first ACC Championship.

“We are really looking forward to the ACC Tournament,” said Clemson head coach Jolene Jordan Hoover, now in her seventh season with the Tigers. “This is going to be an exciting weekend, and we feel like we’re playing well right now.”

Clemson (29-1, 15-1 ACC) will face Florida State on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the first round of the ACC Tournament.
