Clemson’s volleyball team will take on #8 seed Virginia Tech in the 25th annual ACC Tournament on Thursday in Charlottesville, VA. The Tigers and Hokies will play at 2:30 PM, the first match of the championship. The winner will then take on ACC regular season champion Georgia Tech on Friday morning at 11:00.
The Tigers concluded the regular season with an 18-13 overall record, 7-9 in the ACC. Clemson actually tied with both Maryland and Virginia Tech at 7-9, but were the #9 seed due to head-to-head records between the three schools.

She set the single-season and career record at Clemson for kills. Ashton finished the regular season third in the ACC with a .364 hitting percentage.
Virginia Tech finished the 2004 ACC slate with a 7-9 record and was 13-15 overall. The Hokies were led by a pair of players, Katie Esbrook and Annie Spicer.
