All of the Clemson freshmen student-athletes who participated in the Summer Immersion workshops or in the Personal Growth and Development class this fall were invited to attend the annual Dining Etiquette and Professional Conduct Dinner sponsored by the staff of Vickery Hall in the McFadden team room on Sunday evening, November 6.

Brooke Buffington, formerly of the Michelin Career Center and now a member of the Vickery advising staff, presented tips on the art of handling introductions, shaking hands, and the “do’s and don’ts” of banquet dining.

Assisting her on stage were Eric Mac Lain (football), Natiece Ford (women’s basketball), Elijah Britton (men’s track and field), Kathryn Andreoli (rowing), Andrew Cleveland (baseball) and T.J. Sapp (men’s basketball).

The Summer Immersion workshops and the Personal Growth and Development class are part of the Vickery Hall programming which targets the transitional needs of freshmen student-athletes. The weekly class topics include notebook and time management, health and wellness issues, career development, and community service and leadership.
