Two Tiger Volleyball Players Named To All-ACC Teams

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Junior Jodi Steffes and freshman Kiki Dallao, two member of the Clemson volleyball team, received All-ACC recognition this evening at the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Tournament banquet.

Steffes, a right side hitter from Elwood, IL, was named a member of the All-ACC second team. She was the ACC Rookie of the Year in 1998 and was a second team All-ACC honoree in 1999. Steffes was also named to the 1999 ACC All-Tournament Team and was an AVCA All-District selection. This season, she leads the Tigers in kills with 445 and kills per game with a 4.24 kills per game average. She also leads Clemson in hitting percentage (.307) and in digs with 341 total.

Dallao, an outside hitter from Arlington, TX, was named to the ACC All-Freshman team after finishing the regular season with 15 double-doubles. She is second on the team in kills with 390 and a 3.58 kills per game average. Her 310 digs on the season also place her second on the Clemson squad.

The Tigers (13-17, 6-10 ACC) are slated to play the Maryland Terrapins Thursday evening (Nov. 16) at 5:00 in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Tournament hosted by Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.
