Travel – Driving Directions to University of Miami

Driving from the North I-95 South, which feeds into U.S. 1; continue south on U.S. 1 about five miles. Right on Red Road (S.W. 57th Avenue) to third light, Miller Road (S.W. 56th Street). Right on Miller to end of road. Left onto San Amaro Drive. Take your second right into the campus, which is the main entrance to this side of campus. Visitor parking is available in the metered lot after you pass through the information gate. If you are visiting the Undergraduate Admission Office, it is located on the first floor of the Ashe building, located to the right of the fountain.

Driving from the West I-75 South towards Miami. From I-75 take 826 South. Continue south on 826 to Miller Road exit. Left onto Miller Road (SW 56 St.) to end of road. Left onto San Amaro Drive. Take your second right into the campus, which is the main entrance to this side of campus. Visitor parking is available in the metered lot after you pass through the information gate. If you are visiting the Undergraduate Admission Office, it is located on the first floor of the Ashe building.

Driving from Miami International Airport Take LeJeune Road south for about five miles (through downtown Coral Gables); right on U.S. 1 and travel about 1.5 miles. Right on Red Road (S.W. 57th Avenue) to third light, Miller Road. Right on Miller (S.W. 56th Street) to end of road. Left onto San Amaro Drive. Take your second right into the campus, which is the main entrance to this side of campus. Visitor parking is available in the metered lot after you pass through the information gate. If you are visiting the Undergraduate Admission Office, it is located on the first floor of the Ashe building, located to the right of the fountain.

Parking: Temporary parking passes can be purchased from the Day Pass Machine, located in the lobby of the Parking Garage at 5665 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Passes are available for one to five days, at a cost of $3/day. The machine is available twenty four hours per day, and operates like a standard vending machine except that the selection must be made before inserting any money. Please remember to place the pass face up on your dashboard while parked on campus. Temporary passes are valid in all Residential and Commuter lots on the Coral Gables Campus. This does not include parking meters, Reserved Spaces, Service Spaces, or any other specially marked spaces. Parking Meters are available at the following locations:

• Osceola Visitors Lot located on Merrick Drive. The Osceola Lot is within a close proximity of many campus destinations including the University Center, The School of Business, and all of the Residential Colleges. For access to this lot, please stop by our Information Booth located at the Stanford Drive Entrance to the University.
• Stanford Drive near the University Center and the School of Business Lowe Art Museum. You can obtain a token for these meters from the receptionist at the Lowe Art Museum.
• Mahoney/Pearson Lot in front of Pearson Residential College Adjacent to the Behavioral Medicine Building Student Health Center on Pavia Street. Both standard and token meters. Patients can obtain tokens from the receptionist at the Daystar Health Center.
• Dickinson Drive across from Eaton Residential College Railey/Rhode House Lot, next to Building 37 Smather’s Wellness Center Lot, in front of the Wellness Center.
• Orovitz North Parking Lot, located on Levante Avenue. Token meters available for all job applicants. You can obtain a token for these meters from the receptionist in the lobby of the Orovitz Building. Along San Amaro Drive (also known as Hurricane Drive) Corniche Lot next to University Relations, and just across from the Nursing Building.
• In the Gusman Hall/Ring Theatre Lot located at Miller Drive and San Amaro Drive.
• On Miller Drive, in front of the Law School and Gusman Concert Hall Richter Library Lot on Memorial Drive. This is very close to the Richter Library, the Ashe Building, Cox Science Building, the Ungar Building, and the Law School.
• Just outside of the Law Library Preferred Parking Lot, located near the Information Booth on Memorial Drive Ungar/Cox Science Lot Memorial Classroom/Cosford Cinema Lot. This is a short distance from Allen Hall, Memorial Classrooms, the Learning Center/Cable Studio, and the Art/Photography Buildings.
