Tigers Set To Face Duke Monday Night

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball team will face Duke Monday night at 9:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum. The game will be televised by Fox Sports South.

Clemson has a 16-9 record overall, and a 7-6 mark in the ACC. The Lady Tigers are 8-2 at home this season. Clemson has won seven of its last 11 games. Duke has a 21-4 record overall and a 10-3 mark in league play. Duke is ranked 14th by the Associated PRess poll and 12th by the USA Today poll.

This will be the 50th meeting between Clemson and Duke on the basketball court. Clemson leads the overall series 31-18. Duke defeated Clemson 60-51 in Durham, NC on January 16. Angie Cossey was Clemson’s leading scorer in that game with 14 points.

Clemson is led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd with a 12.5 ppg. average. Erin Batth leads the team in rebounding with a 7.4 rpg. mark.

Duke is led in scoring by Georgia Schweitzer with a 16.0 ppg. Lauren Rice leads the Blue Devils with a 7.0 rpg. mark.
