Tigers Play 110-Minute Exhibition Match With Duke

Clemson, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers opened up their home slate against the Duke Blue Devils in an exhibition match Friday night. The nine freshmen were all able to see time while the Tigers battled for possession throughout the match, including a 20-minute extra period.

“It was great to be out here at Historic Riggs Field,” said Head Coach Eddie Radwanski. “We had a nice crowd on a Friday night. I want to thank Duke for coming down and playing us in the preseason. Both teams had a very good opportunity as ACC foes to test each other. There’s a lot left ahead, and things like this are extremely valuable. We’re getting excited to play in our first regular season match next week!”

Up next, Clemson returns to action on Thursday, August 19 as the Tigers face Saint Francis at Historic Riggs Field at 7 p.m. before taking on Loyola on Sunday, August 22 at home at 7 p.m.
