The Tigers’ presence was felt around the nation this week as eight former #ClemsonUnited players saw professional action over the weekend.
Tommy McNamara (’13) saw action in a pair of games over the weekend. The midfielder tallied the game-winning goal in the 68th minute of Houston’s match with D.C. United on May 18, his first goal of the season.

Diego Campos (Chicago Fire) took three corner kicks in 18 minutes of action against the San Jose Earthquakes. Campos and the Fire ultimately fell to the ‘Quakes, 4-1.
Andrew Tarbell (San Jose Earthquakes) and Joe Bendik (Columbus Crew) both served as reserve options over the weekend.
Patrick Bunk-Andersen (’18) started on the backline for Toronto FC II, playing all 90 minutes in the club’s 2-0 loss to Orlando City B on May 17.
Paul Clowes (’15) subbed on in the 76th minute of the match, helping the Greenville Triumph SC to a 1-0 victory over the Richmond Kickers on May 18.
Phanuel Kavita (’14) played a full 90 minutes in his ninth start of the season in Saint Louis FC’s 0-0 draw with Louisville City FC.
Jack Metcalf (’13) stared in Atlanta United 2’s 1-1 draw with the Swope Park Rangers, playing all 90 minutes for Atlanta on May 19.
Cody Mizell (’12) totaled four saves on five shots faced in New Mexico United’s 3-1 victory over Colorado Springs on May 18. New Mexico United currently sits at the top of the Western Conference standings.
Kyle Murphy (’15) started in Loudoun United FC’s 2-1 loss to Hartford Athletic on May 19.
