The Tigers had 12 #ClemsonUnited alumni participate in nine matches this, with 10 seeing action. Three members wore the captain’s armband and another player joined the list of alumni to log his 20th start of the season!
Tommy McNamara (‘13) and Diego Campos (‘17) squared off against each other on Saturday evening in Houston, Texas. McNamara entered the match in the 81st minute, coming in at midfield. Campos was a part of the Chicago Fire’s 18-man roster and entered the match in the closing minutes.

Joe Bendik (‘09) and Andrew Tarbell (‘15) were both named to their squad’s 18-man roster for their weekend matches.
Amadou Dia (‘14) was a part of one of the most exhilarating match-ups this past week, as Phoenix Rising FC looked to win their 12th-straight match. With Dia on the backline, the squad was able to rally after conceding two goals within the first 52 minutes of play. Six minutes later, the team would score their first of three goals in the second half, winning the match by a score of 3-2. Dia logged a full 90 minutes.
Phanuel Kavita (‘14) earned another start along the defensive line for Saint Louis FC, bringing his season total to 20. Kavita logged a full 90 minutes as his squad took on New York Red Bulls II.
Kyle Murphy (‘15) wore the captain’s armband for Loudoun United FC as they took on Jack Metcalf (‘13) and Atlanta United II. Both players would log a full 90 minutes during the contest, but it was Metcalf’s side who came out victorious, winning 4-2.
Cody Mizell (‘12) got the start in goal for both of New Mexico United’s games this past week. During mid-week action, Mizell earned a clean-sheet and recorded four saves. Over the weekend, Mizell was awarded for his excellent play over the past matches by being given the captain’s armband.
Patrick Bunk-Andersen (‘18) started the mid-week match for Toronto FC II as a member of the 18-man roster and entered the contest at halftime.
Paul Clowes (‘15) and Greenville Triumph SC were triumphant this past weekend, winning their match by a score of 1-nil. Clowes logged 77 minutes on the field and one shot.
Kyle Fisher (‘15) was tabbed to the starting eleven and would help his team to a nil-nil draw.
