The #ClemsonUnited professionals were in full force this past week, with 11 alumni dressing for their clubs and eight seeing playing time. Three players were awarded the captain’s armband for their clubs!
Joe Bendik (‘09) and Diego Campos (’17) were named to their respective side’s 18-man rosters as the Chicago Fire and Philadelphia Union faced each other on Saturday night. During midweek action, Campos was a part of the Fire’s reserves.
Tommy McNamara (‘13) was named to the 18-man roster for Houston as they took to the field against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night. McNamara came on in the second-half, logging 23 minutes and contributing one assist on the Dynamo’s second goal of the game.
Andrew Tarbell (‘15) was a part of the San Jose Earthquake’s 18-man roster for their weekend match.
Amadou Dia (’14) and Phoenix Rising FC can’t be stopped. The club rolled to its 14th straight win, with Dia contributing to the 4-2 victory with three clearances, two tackles and two interceptions.
Jack Metcalf (‘13) was awarded the captain’s armband for his Atlanta United 2 side, as his team won over Swope Park Rangers, 2-1. Metcalf created two chances and contributed two crosses.

Phanuel Kavita (‘14) was a member Saint Louis F.C.’s backline during their match on Sunday night, continuing his streak of starting every USL match this season.
Kyle Murphy (’15) was awarded the captain’s armband on Wednesday night for Loudoun United FC, contributing a shot in his 65 minutes of play. Murphy was a part of the 18-man roster on Saturday evening.
Cody Mizell (‘12) was honored with the captain’s armband on Saturday night, as New Mexico United played to a 2-2 draw against LA Galaxy II.

Patrick Bunk-Andersen (‘18) helped Toronto FC II to a 2-2 draw with a full 90 minutes credited to his name. Bunk-Andersen tallied six clearances and one tackle, along with one interception.
Paul Clowes (‘15) was a member of the Greenville Triumph SC’s nil-nil draw against Forward Madison FC. Clowes played 76 minutes with two clearances and three interceptions in his defensive effort. It was a special night in Greenville, as the Clemson Tigers men’s soccer program was in attendance for the match!
