Feb. 10, 2004

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s tennis team is ranked 13th by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in the poll released on Feb. 10. The ranking is the highest achieved by a Tiger women’s tennis team under head coach Nancy Harris, and is the highest for the program since the 1994 season when Clemson was ranked as high as 12th nationally.

The Tigers improve to 13th in the ITA poll after being ranked 15th in the previous poll released on Jan. 27. Clemson is 2-0 on the season after defeating College of Charleston (6-1) and #32 Baylor (4-3) in the first two matches of the season. The Tigers are scheduled to take on in-state rival South Carolina (#47) on Saturday in Columbia and will return to Clemson to face 14th-ranked Virginia Commonwealth on Sunday.
