Clemson fans have never had a better reason to gather at the Lawn at Littlejohn for their pre-game fun than they do this Saturday. At 9:00 a.m., they will enjoy the new OrangeandWhite.com Tiger Tailgate Show. Hosted by Clemson fanatic and nationally-syndicated radio star David Stein and Clemson sports aficionado and alumnus Roy Philpott, Tiger fans are in for a live, pre-game interview with a Clemson coach to open the show.
This week’s guest is Head Men’s Basketball Coach Brad Brownell live and on-stage. What’s more, there will be countless games and prizes fans can win on the spot and even a pre-game pre-recorded pep talk from Dabo Swinney and The Coolest Free T-shirt Ever Given Away Anywhere.
“Stein versus Food” Fans can bring their best or most unusual tailgate food item to the stage for host David Stein to eat live on-air. The fan with the best (or most unique) culinary submission will get interviewed live on-air and win $100 worth of gift certificates from a Clemson sponsor.
“Know Thine Enemy” One fan will be selected from the crowd and will be asked to answer five trivia questions about that day’s opponent. Should the fan answer all five questions correctly, that fan will receive a very special Clemson prize.
The Coolest Free T-Shirt Ever Given Away Anywhere Fans at the stage will get to catch the coolest free T-shirt, courtesy of the official screen printer of The Tiger Tailgate Show – Tiger Town Graphics. Fans who can’t catch or are vertically challenged, can try a rousing game of target toss next to the stage to win one as well.
Bojangles Paw Patrol Those not at the Lawn at Littlejohn can still win as The Bojangles Paw Patrol will be cruising the parking lots, giving away Bojangles’ gift cards worth anywhere between $1 and $100 each and The Bojangles’ Paw Patrol will be choosing one lucky fan to be the Academy Sports Tailgater of the Game.
Don’t miss this awesome Clemson football extravaganza, kick-started by Clemson Men’s Basketball Coach Brad Brownell at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2 at the Lawn at Littlejohn. If you’re not lucky enough to be there in person, be sure to tune in to one of the proud affiliates of the Clemson Tiger Sports Network.
